An energy operator in Abu Dhabi approached us with surplus grid capacity to develop a mining site. Based on their available power and plot limits, we engineered a 14.4MW hydro bitcoin mining setup using 12 units of our 1.2MW 210-Slot Split-Type Antminer Hydro Mining Container 20FT HQ. Each container pairs with closed-loop dry coolers, utilizing a split architecture that eliminates water use and fits the irregular site layout.
The project scope covered container manufacturing, internal power distribution, water circulation systems, and step-down substation integration. Because the modular 20FT units arrived pre-wired and factory-tested, on-site assembly, piping, and electrical commissioning were completed in under four months with minimal civil foundation work.
Commissioned in 2024, the site operates 24/7 at sustained full load, even through summer peak temperatures exceeding 50°C (122°F). The closed-loop dry coolers require zero water replenishment while delivering an operating PUE below 1.05 with no thermal throttling. Additionally, the sealed container shell isolates miners from fine desert sand and dust, keeping hardware failure rates well below industry regional averages.
