Engineered as the gold standard for high-density computing, the Apexto 2750 kVA (2.75 MVA) Three-Phase Pad-Mounted Transformer delivers ~2.0 MW of continuous electrical throughput, purpose-built to power 40-foot hydro-cooled crypto mining containers and enterprise data center facilities.
Stepping down standard 13.8kV, 34.5kV, or 24.94kV utility feeds to dedicated 415V, 480V, or 600V circuits, it supports custom tap configurations. Fully UL/cUL certified and DOE compliant, it ensures seamless utility grid interconnection.
Constructed with a heavy-gauge welded steel tank and stainless steel hardware, the weather-sealed enclosure features a UV-resistant electrostatic Munsell Green finish. Engineered for 20+ years of outdoor service, it delivers superior protection against corrosion and desert dust.

Yes, if 2.4 MW is the total site load. At a 0.95 power factor, 2.4 MW requires about 2,526 kVA, leaving approximately 224 kVA of transformer capacity. If cooling or auxiliary loads are additional to the 2.4 MW rating, they should be included before final sizing.
For a fixed 2.4 MW total load with no major expansion planned, 2750 kVA is a practical fit. Choose 3000 kVA when the 2.4 MW figure excludes cooling loads, or when overclocking, additional miners, or near-term expansion is planned.
At full load, a 2750 kVA transformer delivers approximately 3,308A at 480V and 2,646A at 600V. This generally points to 4000A-class distribution at 480V or 3000–3500A-class distribution at 600V, subject to the final electrical design.
Not if you intend to use the transformer’s full capacity. A 2750 kVA transformer delivers approximately 3,827A at 415V. A 3200A main would therefore limit how much of the transformer capacity can actually be used.
5.75% is a common starting point, but it should be checked against the project short-circuit study. At 480V, a 2750 kVA transformer with 5.75% impedance can produce roughly 57.5 kA of transformer-limited fault current, which directly affects switchgear interrupting ratings.
At 3,000A+ secondary currents, both are possible. Short parallel cable runs are common, while busway or close-coupled switchgear can simplify very high-current connections. The decision should be based mainly on distance, available space, installation cost, and required current capacity.
