The 1250 kVA transformer is aimed at projects that need more operating margin than a standard 1 MVA unit can comfortably provide. It is commonly considered for high-density electrical loads, compute infrastructure, and industrial systems where continuous demand is expected to remain relatively high.
Rather than jumping directly to 1.5 or 2 MVA, a 1.25 MVA unit can offer a more balanced relationship between installed capacity and expected load. Primary voltage, secondary voltage, feed type, taps, and protection can all be configured to suit the project.
This makes the 1250 kVA model especially useful where additional thermal and electrical headroom is needed without excessive oversizing.
