Project Description

Running miners in Utah’s high-altitude desert brings a tough hurdle: water is scarce and expensive, ruling out evaporative cooling towers. Looking to expand indoors without continuous water supplies, the team set up 6 units of our 20-Slot 110kW Antminer Water Cooling Cabinet. Each hydro mining cabinet fits 20 machines into a slim vertical frame.

The site uses an economical 1-to-6 setup: one high-flow outdoor dry cooler feeds all six indoor racks through central stainless manifolds. A customized CDU balances fluid pressure across the 660kW cluster. Because the closed loop circulates without evaporation, the facility runs completely waterless with no need for municipal water lines.

Even when outdoor temperatures topped 38°C (100°F) in July, the dry cooler kept supply fluid steady at 34°C across the 120 miners. Daily maintenance takes just a quick check on the CDU pressure gauges, with no water top-offs or loop refills needed.
