Casestudy van een Antminer Hydro Cooling Container met 480 slots

project Beschrijving

A European investment firm contacted us with available power at a geothermal plant near Reykjavik, planning to build a zero-emission mining site. The project required specific technical adjustments due to the cold, high-humidity coastal climate and sulfur gases from the nearby geothermal plant.

For the client, we prepared a 5-container site, installed 2,100 ASIC units, and built the complete engineering infrastructure using our 2.4MW 420-Slot Antminer Hydro Cooling Container 40FT HQ. The setup included anti-corrosive marine paint, sealed closed-loop dry coolers, and factory-integrated fiber networking to protect the ASIC liquid cooling container systems from damp maritime air.

From equipment delivery to final electrical commissioning, the project took 4 months to complete. The facility was energized in 2024 and has been running stably at full capacity. Low-cost geothermal power and zero water costs ensure an estimated payback period of 18–20 months, proving that mid-to-large-scale liquid mining is highly profitable even in remote, harsh environments.
