Project Description
Deploying our avalon hydro container allowed a mining group in Muscat, Oman, to build out 3MW while bypassing hardware supply shortages. The site required enclosures capable of running both Canaan Avalon A1566HA and MicroBT Whatsminer 2U machines together. We delivered 3 units of our 1MW 20HQ model to house 300 total rigs.
Each 20-foot container provides 100 slots fitted with adjustable flow-control valves. Because Avalon and Whatsminer water blocks have different internal hydraulic resistances, crews tuned each shelf valve to balance pressure across both brands. Mobile cranes placed the pre-assembled enclosures on the paved yard, linking them directly to paired external dry coolers.
The 3MW facility reached full operation within four weeks of crane delivery. Running fifty Avalon and fifty Whatsminer units per container, the closed-loop system maintains balanced fluid circulation across all 300 mixed rigs, protecting hardware from desert dust and eliminating downtime caused by single-brand supply shortages.
