420-Slot Bitcoin Mining Hydro Container Project in Sweden

Near Luleå, Sweden, an operator secured 19.2MW of hydroelectric power to expand hashrate capacity. To satisfy land-use and acoustic limits, we delivered 8 units of our 2.4MW 420-Slot Antminer Hydro Cooling Container 40FT HQ, housing 3,360 ASICs. Each bitcoin mining hydro container features stackable 40HQ dry coolers on the roof, avoiding separate ground radiator yards.

Stacking the dry coolers on top cut ocean freight expenses and simplified crane placement. Internally, balanced CDU systems and oversized stainless manifolds deliver equal pressure across all 420 bays. The enclosed water loops keep fan speeds low, ensuring quiet operation compliant with Swedish environmental noise standards.

Operating on 100% renewable hydropower in northern Sweden’s sub-Arctic climate, the site uses thermal bypass valves to prevent coolant over-cooling during sub-zero winters. Supply temperatures stay stable at 35°C, keeping all 3,360 Antminer hydro units hashing at full capacity with minimal on-site servicing.
