How to Setup Bombax EZ100?

EZ100

Summary

Bombax EZ100 mining EtHash algorithm with a maximum hashrate of 12500M-13000M for a power consumption of 2200W-2300W.

Bombax Miner focuses on developing leading-edge crypto mining servers. BOMBAX EZ100 is a mining device optimized for ETC (Ethereum Classic) mining, with high mining performance and relatively low power consumption.

Whether mining for personal use or as part of a larger operation, the BomBax EZ100 offers a reliable solution for maximizing cryptocurrency yields while minimizing energy costs.

Setting up Bombax EZ100 is pretty straightforward. Here is a quick setup guide for Bombax EZ100 with step-by-step instructions and relevant images. Get to know it right from opening the shipment box to the detailed setup process.

Unboxing the Bombax EZ100

As you open the box, you will find the entire ASIC wrapped in an antistatic bag, as shown in the image.

The entire ASIC is safely padded with thick foam pieces for better protection in shipping.

The Bombax EZ100 currently comes in the following look, as shown in the following picture.

Now, let’s move on to the actual setting up process. The actual setting up process begins now.

Step-by-step guide for Setting up the Bombax EZ100

1.  Preparing the ASIC

Place your Bombax EZ100 on a flat surface and in a well-ventilated place, as the machine will release heat. Also, ensure you have a network connection in that area, as ASICs don’t support wifi.

The power requirements of any ASIC miner are relatively high, over 3000W. Thus, the regular home power setup won’t work. You need a dedicated power infrastructure for your ASIC miner.

2. Configuring the ASIC

Once the power supply is on, the ethernet light should come on.

The next step is to find the IP address of your Bombax EZ100. You will need a laptop or desktop with the same internet connection.

Go to your router and find your ASIC’s IP address.

Once you enter the IP address in the browser, a window will appear asking for a username and password.

3. Adding the Mining Pool

Now, go to the settings page and set up the mining pool, wallet address, and password.

You can pick and choose any mining pool here. However, let’s take f2pool for demonstration purposes. Let’s take ETC+ZIL for example here.

Scroll down and copy the address.

Go to the settings page. Paste it into the mining address.

The following tabs allow you to add extra mining pools. Hence, even if one mining pool goes down, you can mine with others.

Enter your username and password into the username tab on the settings page.

Start Mining

The mining process should have started immediately. However, it is ideal to restart the miner for accurate readings.

Now, check the ASIC’s dashboard. You can see the ASIC mining in its maximum hash rate.
